What music would you choose to listen to, if you were isolated from the world? Come and listen to Piers Maxim talk about the music that influenced him. A short biography of Piers may be found here.
But why read when you can come and hear Piers talking about his life, work and especially his music.
In the relaxed surroundings of the Lyttelton Rooms close to Malvern Priory, Piers will be in conversation with the Chairman of the Elgar Chorale of Worcester, Tim Watson.
Piers has worked in America, South Africa and Europe working with people such as René Jacobs, opera companies such as Staatsoper Berlin and on operas such as Mozart’s The Magic Flute and Handel’s Semele.
Choral works Piers has conducted include Elgar’s The Dream of Gerontius, Tippett’s A Child of our Time and Verdi’s Requiem, a work he led during a Choral Workshop for Worcester Festival Chorus Society.
So what music will Piers choose? Come to this evening’s event and find out!
